Doing some rock studies this week to build up that visual library. Worked with direct color this time around and while it's more difficult than starting black and white, it's a lot of fun and forces me to consider value and color at the same time which I don't have a whole lot of experience doing yet. My colors fell on the cool side at first so I'll have to work on getting my temps right when studying.

Hey Alex, how are ya? Sup with you busting out these awesome studies since last week?! :) Btw, taking long breaks from drawing is totally fine. I probably had several months or so worth of video games, learning to cook, and maybe pure laziness in the last two years, lol. Glad to see work from you again. Hope all is well!
